CLASSIC CHIC changed the Salon business when the collection was introduced in August 1997. While the other companies that supply Nail Color were still busy following the trend towards dark shades that had been prevalent throughout 1997, Forsythe was busy creating the next trend-a variety of ultra-chic metallic shades in a wide range of tones from metallic rouge (601 Patent Leather Red) to frosted beige (603-A Rare Find) to soft metallic silver blue (593).

Satina Pearls Collection

Forsythe created the first satin shimmer Nail Lacquers in 1995, calling the original collection SATINAS. This group of unique frost lacquers has since expanded to some 24 shades. The latest additions to the SATINAS group are four shades from the SATINA PEARLS collection. Opulence(647) and Indulgence(651) are classic satinas, soft metallic shades with a beautiful satin finish. Cultured Pearl(649) and Semi Precious(650) are darker, bolder metallics that share the same satin shimmer. The collection is rounded out by Wild Ruby(648), a festive sparkling red frost and Bejeweled, a stunningly different eggplant. Co-ordinating lipsticks are also available for all six SATINA PEARLS shades.
