Renee
Petikas, the daughter of Greek immigrants, grew up with an inherited
work/ethic and a strong drive for success. She was working in
a nail salon at the tender age of 12, went to Cosmetology School at
14, and took her State Boards at 15, long before graduating from
high school! She was eager to learn, and watched and trained
with the best talent in town. At 18 she was managing a
salon. And while going to trade shows and learning everything
she could, she opened her own salon, Precious Nails, Inc. before she
turned 20.
It has
been Renee's lifelong dream to have a truly first class Salon and
Day Spa; a beautiful, comfortable atmosphere, a home away from
home, where one could relax and be pampered with the very best
in service. Thanks to the loyal following of her wonderful
clients for the last 18 years at Precious Nails, Inc., Renee has
realized her dream with The Retreat Salon and Day Spa.
